1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Eternal Memory Space is a digital family memorial service by JB Creative Studio LLC (“JB Creative Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to eternalmemoryspace.com and to the services we provide, including Digital Memorials, QR Tribute Pages, Family Storytelling, and Legacy Preservation. It does not apply to a third-party website or service linked from our site.
2. Family memories remain yours
Family memories, photographs, videos, life stories, audio, documents, and other personal content remain the property and under the control of the family or other owner. JB Creative Studio LLC does not claim ownership of that content. The owner or authorized family representative may ask us to update, provide a download or copy of, restrict, or remove submitted content, subject to confirming the requester’s authority and to any legal or practical limits.
3. Information you choose to provide
When you contact us or arrange a project, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, messages, preferences, service instructions, and information needed to communicate with you. To create a memorial, you may send photographs, videos, audio, documents, written stories, captions, names, dates, and family history (“Memorial Content”). Memorial Content may include information about living people. Please do not send Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, full payment-card numbers, or medical records unless we specifically request information that is necessary and lawful for a confirmed project.
If a payment is arranged through an invoice or a separate payment provider, that provider may process payment and share limited transaction information with us. We do not operate a self-service account or payment-card form on this website.
4. How we use information
- To answer questions and discuss a requested memorial or service.
- To design, write, edit, present, set up, host, maintain, and support a Digital Memorial, QR Tribute Page, Family Storytelling project, or Legacy Preservation project according to your instructions.
- To organize submitted photos, videos, stories, and other Memorial Content, coordinate review and revision rounds, and maintain the access arrangement you select.
- To communicate about project timing, approvals, invoices, annual service, and support.
- To protect the website and memorials, respond to misuse or security concerns, keep appropriate business records, and comply with law.
We do not claim ownership of Memorial Content, sell it, use it for advertising, or publish a family’s memorial as a portfolio example without permission from the appropriate owner or authorized representative.
5. Memorial privacy and QR access
Where a project is designated private, we follow the sharing instructions confirmed for that memorial. A private memorial is intended for the family and other people the owner chooses to invite. A QR code or tribute URL functions as an access link: anyone who scans it or receives the URL may be able to view the linked page. QR access is not a substitute for a password or identity verification, so please share bookmarks and links thoughtfully.
Contact us if a memorial needs a correction, a changed access arrangement, a replacement QR destination, a download, or removal. We may verify identity and authority before changing or disclosing Memorial Content, particularly when more than one family member is involved.
6. Service providers and disclosures
We may use providers needed to deliver the website and a confirmed project, such as website or file hosting, domain and QR infrastructure, email, security, or payment services. Those providers receive only information reasonably needed for their role and may process it under their own terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate misuse, or in connection with a transfer of the relevant business. We do not share Memorial Content with unrelated advertisers.
7. Retention, downloads, and deletion
We retain contact details, project records, and Memorial Content for as long as reasonably needed to discuss, create, maintain, and provide the purchased service, including any annual website or QR access period. When a service ends, or an authorized owner asks us to remove content, we will use reasonable efforts to take the active content out of the relevant service within a reasonable operational period. We may keep limited records, such as invoices, communications, authorization records, or secure backup copies, for legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, security, or backup-rotation purposes. When practical, we will work with an authorized owner on a requested download or copy before removal.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and the service, including access controls and reputable technology providers where applicable. No website, cloud service, email transmission, QR code, or internet connection is completely secure. If we learn of a security incident affecting your information, we will assess it and provide notices required by applicable law.
9. Cookies and technical information
The website may receive ordinary technical information from hosting and security systems, such as browser, device, IP address, pages requested, and time of access, to deliver and protect the site. At present, we do not intentionally use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. We will update our Cookie Policy if that changes. Browser settings can also control or delete cookies and similar technologies.
10. Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask us to access, correct, update, download, restrict, or delete personal information or Memorial Content associated with a service, or to change memorial sharing instructions. We will take reasonable steps to verify a request and respond within the period required by applicable law. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. We do not sell personal information or discriminate against people for making a lawful privacy request.
11. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults arranging or contributing to a family memorial. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate adult involvement, contact us so we can review it.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date above identifies the current version. For privacy questions, rights requests, or concerns about a memorial, contact JB Creative Studio LLC at Jbcreativestudio8@gmail.com or use our Contact page. Please do not send full payment-card numbers or other highly sensitive credentials by email.
